Privacy Policy for Audio Cutter

Last updated: August 15, 2026

Audio Cutter is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Summary

Audio Cutter does not collect, transmit, or share your data. There is no backend server, analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking in the app. Everything you record, import, trim, or export stays on your device unless you personally choose to share or export a file using iOS’s Share Sheet.

Information we access—and why

Audio Cutter requests device permissions only when you actively use the related feature:

None of this information leaves your device. Audio Cutter has no network access for uploading your audio.

Where your data is stored

Projects, tracks, and recordings are stored locally in the app’s private storage on your device. They are not synced to a server, backed up to a third-party service, or made accessible to anyone else by Audio Cutter.

On Pro, deleted projects move to the in-app Recycle Bin for 30 days before they are permanently erased. You may empty the Recycle Bin at any time.

Exporting and sharing

When you export or share a trimmed or merged clip, Audio Cutter passes the file to Apple’s standard Share Sheet or Files app. Where the file goes next is your choice. Audio Cutter does not keep a record of it.

Children’s privacy

Audio Cutter does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone.

Third parties

Audio Cutter includes no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks.
