FAQ
A few useful things to know.
Can I make a ringtone or text tone?
Yes. Choose Ringtone for a clip up to 30 seconds or Text Tone for a clip up to five seconds. After export, share the file to Files or AirDrop it, open it there, and choose the relevant “Use as…” option.
Does Audio Cutter need an internet connection?
No. Recording, trimming, merging, and exporting happen on your device. The app has no servers and no account system.
Can I add audio from other apps?
Yes. From the Share Sheet in Files, Voice Memos, and many other apps, choose Audio Cutter to send an audio file into a new project.
What happens when I delete a project?
On Pro, deleted projects remain in the Recycle Bin for 30 days. On the free plan, deletion is permanent after confirmation.
